Mr. Ross Turner
Head Bangladesh Cricket Academy
Ross Turner has previously served Fourth Dimension International Limited as its Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to this Turner was employed by Cricket Australia in senior management roles. Between 2000 – 2005 he was General Manager Game Development during which time he established Australian cricket’s national game development strategy. His key achievements in this role included the establishment of Cricket Australia’s Centre of Excellence, creation of a national insurance scheme for cricket clubs, integration of women’s cricket, and founding a nation-wide indigenous cricket program.
From 2005 – 2010 Turner established Cricket Australia’s International Business Unit operating principally in Asia. Working through a broad range of stakeholders he built awareness of and enhanced Cricket Australia’s brand in government and non-government sectors.
Turner’s foray into international cricket business and administration commenced in 1998 when he was appointed as the International Cricket Council’s Global Development Manager. His brief centred on building the business capabilities of cricket within traditional cricket nations and selected new territories.
Ross Turner developed his reputation as a proficient and creative business manager during his time with Cricket New South Wales – 1989 – 1998 - at a time when the sport was undeveloped. His vision, capacity to solve problems and effective communication were built on sound academic foundations including a Master of Education, Graduate Diploma of Sport, and Diploma of Teaching.
Suffice to say that the aforementioned skills and rich experience in the realm of sport and entertainment, and education sectors provide valuable tools to lead Fourth Dimension International’s quest to become the global leader in sport education.
